Regulations differ by country, region, and altitude. Always verify current airspace laws before you leave home — rules change frequently and vary even within a single country.

Avoid restricted zones

National parks, airports, military areas, and dense urban centres often carry strict no-fly restrictions. Cross-reference official airspace apps before every flight.

Respect people and privacy

Never photograph individuals without consent. Maintain safe distances from residences, events, and crowded spaces. Good pilots leave no trace except stunning imagery.

Plan your shot before takeoff

The best aerial footage starts on the ground. Scout the location, check sunrise and shadow directions, plan your flight path, and confirm battery levels. Preparation is the frame.
